Dr. Sheth introduced Robotic Knee Replacement surgery in Mumbai in 2020 and is one of the few truly exclusive knee specialists in the country. He was honoured with the Times Healthcare Leaders Award in 2022 for his Excellence in Orthopaedics in the ‘Arthroscopy and Replacement Surgery’ category. He is actively involved in research and designing of instruments for knee arthroscopy. A member of the Personalised Arthroplasty Society, he has been trying to substantiate the importance of individualised placement and alignment of knee replacement prostheses.
Dr. Sheth has been an invited speaker at several national conferences and has also chaired several orthopaedics conferences both in India and abroad. He has been involved in the teaching and training of young Orthopaedic surgeons from all over India. He has to his credit 9 articles in international journals and 2 chapters in Orthopaedic textbooks. He is also a reviewer of the Orthopaedic Journal of Sports Medicine (OJSM) and Indian Journal of Orthopaedics (IJO), widely read Journals of Orthopaedic Surgery.
